Outlook
Down --- High pressure is to rebuild along the coast by Thursday  holding for 24 hrs, then retreating again.  A short burst of north windswell expected into the early weekend.  Down south a stronger storm developed southeast of New Zealand on Fri-Sat (5/5) with 40 ft seas.  Small swell from it was peaking on Tues (5/16) and is to be heading down from there. Additional modest gale energy developed in the extreme East Pacific Tues-Wed (5/9) with up to 38 ft seas, but all aimed very much due east. Maybe a pulse of swell by Fri (5/18). One more developed in the East Pac on Sat (5/12) with 32 ft seas, but again aimed all east. Virtually no real swell producing weather systems forecast either north or south for the coming 7 days.
