A gale developed off North Japan tracking east Tues-Wed (3/20) with 27 ft seas aimed east. Swell fading on Tues (3/26). And yet a third developed Wed-Sat (3/23) with up to 38 ft seas aimed east. Swell arrival on Wed (3/27). A gale is forecast developing off Oregon Wed (3/27) with 26 ft seas aimed east then fading while falling south along the CA coast Thurs-Sat (3/30) with 18 ft seas aimed southeast. And another is forecast over the North Dateline region Wed-Thurs (3/28) with 26 ft seas aimed east. The jetstream has consolidated for the moment across the Pacific driven by the Active Phase of the MJO, but is to quickly split starting Wed (3/27).
